Jules Klar, President of Great American Travel, has had a long and distinguished career in the travel industry. Starting in 1961 with $100 and a revolutionary idea, he founded $5-A-Day Tours in partnership with Arthur Frommer. His company became one of the most successful travel organizations in America.

Jules particularly enjoys sharing his travel experiences with clients on his many personally escorted cruises. During his career, Jules has sent thousands of American tourists to every part of the globe. Having lived abroad for seven years has also given him special on recommending the tour or cruise that's right for you... from Australia to Zanzibar, he's been there!

Marita Klar is Vice-President of Great American Travel and was born in Athens. She has been an actress on the London stage, in television and in films, a professional singer and dancer, a restaurateur and Cordon Bleu cook/teacher, wife, mother and homemaker, world traveler, and co-founder of Great American Travel.

Having traveled extensively and having sailed some of the world's great ships uniquely qualifies Marita to share her knowledge and enthusiasm with her clients whom she prefers to treat as good personal friends.
